Barry Moore is President of RPS and has spent decades advancing Randomization
and Trial Supply Management (RTSM) across both Sponsor and Vendor
organizations. He is passionate about collaboration, education, and building
solutions that strengthen RTSM’s role in clinical trials. His vision is to unite
professionals worldwide to enhance the field’s impact on clinical operations and,
most importantly, patients.
With more than two decades of experience in biotech and pharma, Imran is a recognized leader in the RTSM (Randomization & Trial Supply Management) space. He has built and led high-performing teams, driven process innovation, and forged trusted partnerships across the clinical development ecosystem. His work is guided by a core belief: that technology and collaboration can transform how clinical trials are designed, executed, and experienced by patients.
Paul Hughes is a longtime RTSM professional currently serving as Director
of Randomization and Trial Supply Management at Johnson and Johnson
Innovative Medicine. Prior work experience include RTSM roles at Pfizer
and ClinPhone.
Paul's focus now is to put his years as a RTSM Subject Matter Expert into
effective strategy and leadership that improves the RTSM space. Paul hosts
RTSM Time, a livestream on LinkedIn, in which he interviews guests and
discusses topics of interest to the RTSM industry.
Paul was the first recipient of Informa's "IRT Lifetime Achievement Award"
in 2024.
Derek Thornton has been a leader in the clinical supply chain and IRT
industry for the last 17 years. Over the last 5 years he has led the Clinical
Systems IRT team at Amgen where he drives operational excellence, clinical
systems standardization, and innovation in clinical trial execution. Prior to
his current role, Derek managed a department of IRT design and supply
chain specialists at Almac. Derek holds a Master of Science in Oncological
Sciences from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Science in
Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Aaron Harlett is an Executive Director at Eli Lilly and Company with
responsibility for the RTSM, clinical supply systems, and analytics teams.
He has over 20 years of industry experience and is excited to advance the
industry and elevate RTSM professionals via RPS.
Carol Lee is an Executive Director at Ascentage Pharma responsible for Global Clinical Supplies. With 18 years of experience working at both vendors and sponsors, she has worked to advance the adoption of technologies and build collaborative partnerships to support the advancement of clinical trials.
